another day!

ELEMENTRY SCHOOL: this week at the elementary school I got into the class. I had prepared I lesson about the three colors of Mari Gras. When I came into the class with the poster the class was so intrigued. They had to stay quiet until Mrs. Mary was done with her lesson. So when the teacher was done with the other lesson it was my turn to teach. I told what the three colors where and what they stood for. I asked them what their favorite color was out of the three and a majority of the class said gold. They really enjoyed the lesson, which I was happy about. After that I have to staple 75 papers! By time I was done with that it was time to go.

MIDDLE SCHOOL: when I got to the middle school Mrs. Coverdale put me right to work.  I had to grade a bunch of papers. There was about 35 papers I don’t think there was one 100.  It was a vocabulary test. Then after that I had the next class’s papers to grade. There grades where way better there was even a 105. a\by time I got all that grading done it was time to go.

middle school!

Thursday I couldn’t make it to the elementary school do to personal issues.  I went to the middle school on Friday though. When I got to Mrs. Coverdale’s class, she had her one student reading a vocabulary story to the class. She had me sit in the back of the room and grade a vocabulary test they had taken earlier that day. The lowest grade I think there was a 90! When I told her that she said that this is one of her smarter classes. And when they do a vocabulary story it really help them a lot. Soon after I finished grading the next class came in. they just come in sat down and started to studying for their vocabulary test. When I passed out the test they took it in a matter of 10 minutes. When I graded them I showed in their grades that this is the lower intelligent class. The lowest grade was a 15.  By time I was done grading it was time for me to go.

Going back to 7th grade!

WEST HANCOCK
Thursday we went to the elementary school as normal. We had to take a bus because the nursing class was going with us. They were doing a hand washing activity with the kindergarten class. I’m with the fourth grade class so I didn’t get to help with that.  So when we arrived at the elementary school I went to my class they were dissecting a sheep’s heart. I thought I was interesting. I wanted to stick around to watch but Ms. Mary needed me to make a poster for her.  She asked me to go to the letter cuter and cute out a bunch of letters.  After I got it done I was time for me to go. I was amazed at how fast the time had flown by.

MIDDLE SCHOOL
Friday we walked over to Middle school. I was interested in what the differences and similarities where between the elementary and middle school.  When we got there the principal sat us down and talked to us about what was expected of us. They were really grateful to have us there. They told us that they had close to 100 new students since thanksgiving. When I told them I wanted reading, they brought me to a 7th grade reading class. My teachers name was Mrs. Coverdale. When I got in the class she introduced me as Ms.Macy. To me that was weird because they weren’t too much younger than me. Right away she had me grade a giant stack of papers. After I was finished with the papers she brought me over to another class room. Coach Tercot he teaches history. He was unprepared for me because he didn’t know that today was they day we were coming. So he mostly had me watch him. At 11:30 I was ready to walk back to the high school.
